Staying Fit While Drinking Alcohol

I get this question a lot on how/what I drink when I have to drink when I go out with friends.

Stick to vodka/tequila soda with lime for your liquor and then hit a very light beer/seltzer to coast throughout the night.

 Not only do you want to drink those but when you're eating that day, you want to get your protein in as little calories as possible to leave room for your drinks.

What If I'm Too Sore To Workout?

As my coaches used to tell me, there's a difference between sore and hurt.

If you're just starting out, you're going to be sore for a couple of weeks maybe even longer but just make sure you're stretching and get on that foam roller to help relieve your muscles in order to get back after it the next day! 

5 Days a week is more than enough! You just have to choose a workout split that is right for you, especially one that aligns with your work schedule.

A night shift nurse will not have the same workout regimen as a work from home salesman! 

Know yourself and body and you'll achieve your fitness goals.
